01/11/2007		 Boston Cream Pie was invented by a chef at the Omni Parker House in Boston. Lemon Merangue Pie was perfected in the same kitchen.

The historic Omni Parker House is known also for its guests, which included Charles Dickens, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Ralph Waldo Emerson and other members of the Saturday Club; John F. Kennedy; Mary Todd Lincoln; and John Wilkes Booth.
